Karen and Schubert held their beautiful wedding at the lovely Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes. Although it threatened to rain and may have even sprinkled for a few brief moments during their ceremony, mother nature brought many dramatic and gorgeous clouds and pockets of sunlight throughout the day. Robert and I had the honor of photographing Karen and Schubert's wedding together. It was sweet that we could all share in the day together because I see so many aspects of our relationship in theirs. Karen is a fellow attorney and her vows to Schubert during their ceremony really hit home. So many of her heartfelt words are aspects I have treasured and been mindful of in my own marriage. Schubert's vows were equally heartfelt and meaningful and the promises he made and stories he shared about Karen were beautiful. Schubert even sang to Karen as she came down the aisle toward him! So sweet.

The entire day was filled with love, laughter, and family. Karen included her two sons in her morning getting ready. And Schubert spent time with his sons while they got ready also. The first couple photos here are those precious moments with each of their children.

The reception was so much fun, personalized and meaningful! There were special songs sung, musical performances, and words shared of joy, celebration, wisdom, and gratitude. This is certainly one of the most unique and sentimental receptions we have had the privilege to be a part of.
